Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with AR department to determine all certified payroll jobs
  • Work with Project Managers and clients to collect job information for proper submittal
  • Conduct payroll audits of certified payroll jobs
  • Data entry of certified payroll timesheets, as well as other pertinent job information
  • Assist Payroll and HR Managers with additional tasks as needed
  • Suggest ideas/improvements for processes
  • Willing to learn new programs and take on new tasks as the business grows
  • Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to complete data entry swiftly and accurately
  • Shows exemplary attendance and reliability
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Good problem-solving skills and can make sound decisions quickly
  • Exhibits initiative and follow-through
  • Takes direction well and strives to go above-and-beyond
  • Acts with professionalism
  • Extremely organized with computer files, emails, printed document storage, and data entry
  • Willing to learn the concrete construction business (no field work, just the who’s and what’s of the industry)
Requirements
  • 1-2 years HR/Payroll experience
  • Construction office experience a plus
  • Bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish a plus
  • Experience working with highly confidential information, exhibits standard HR/payroll ethics
  • High school diploma/GED
