About the Position
To ensure all assets and equipment operates in a “Like New” condition, that it is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner and to utilize standard operating procedures (SOP) to be more efficient and productive.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Tool sign in/ out per operator. To keep track of all tools and equipment. (if no small tools personnel is available
- Daily truck inventory and Inspection.
- Properly maintain and repair all equipment and company assets according to schedule. (mark all filters with date and hours that they were changed and install decal showing PM date and hours)
- Daily maintaining yard, breakroom, bathroom, tool room, and shop using the daily Gemba walk and the 5S procedure.
- Tool repairs to be done daily, identify issues of misuse/ abuse/ improvement needs etc.
- Utilize the check in tags correctly, hold operators to a standard with these tags and visually inspect to ensure tags are properly filled out and placed on all equipment daily.
- At times pick up and run equipment and parts to jobs or operators.
- Communicate daily with dispatch on next day needs and ensure we have what is needed. Communicate back to dispatch on any issues.
- Hold operators accountable with tools, equipment, and truck inspections.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor on all issues and needs daily.
Work Schedule
Your work schedule will be Monday – Friday in the office 2nd shift and may consist of working overtime and some weekends at times. (Schedule may be set differently by location manager.)
